We carried out a targeted refurbishment of key areas within a SEN school, improving accessibility, safety and the quality of the learning environment across multiple spaces including classrooms, corridors and communal areas.
Assessment & Planning
A thorough assessment of the building was conducted to identify priority areas. Works were planned in phases to ensure the school could remain operational throughout.
Refurbishment Works
New flooring, decoration, ceiling systems and lighting were installed across the priority areas. Accessibility improvements including handrails, door hardware and signage were fitted throughout.
SEN Specific Considerations
All material choices, colours and finishes were carefully selected to be appropriate for a SEN environment — calming, non-reflective and sensory-friendly throughout.
